Jennifer Rumsey, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Cummins Inc. has been named the official keynote speaker for the 2023 Green Truck Summit.
Held within the Truck Week 2023 trade event, the annual Green Truck Summit provides insights and resources to support the work truck industry’s drive toward greater sustainability, productivity, and efficiency.
Rumsey took over the chief executive officer position on August 1, 2022. She is the seventh CEO in company history, and the first woman to lead it. Since taking on the role of COO in March of 2021, Rumsey has overseen Cummins’ global operations. In February 2022, she was elected to the Cummins Board of Directors, and she will maintain her seat on the board.
Green Truck Summit takes place at JW Marriott Indianapolis, adjacent to Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Indiana, on March 7, 2023. Rumsey’s keynote starts at 8:45 AM.
It will be followed by a full slate of sessions addressing the evolution of the commercial vehicle landscape as the shift toward zero emissions accelerates. Work Truck Week, North America’s largest work truck event, encompasses Green Truck Summit, The Work Truck Show, Ride & Drive educational conference, and more. Educational sessions run March 7–9, 2023, and the exhibit hall is open March 8–10, 2023.
