As the USA’s largest distributor of truck and trailer parts, FleetPride isn’t one to stand on its laurels.
Always on the lookout to improve its position within the independent heavy-duty aftermarket, FleetPride acquired the family-owned Keystone Spring Service, headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Keystone delivers truck parts, custom parts, and services throughout the State, as well as deliveries to Maryland, New York, Ohio, and West Virginia. It has partners with over 50 manufacturers for a wide inventory base.
Keystone was founded in 1973 by Edward Valant Sr. and Edward Valant Jr., and Chuck Haugh. Until its acquisition by FleetPride, it was headed by third-generation brother Greg and Jason Valant.
"FleetPride brings opportunities in many ways to our company. They instantly give us a major upgrade in technology and e-commerce," stated Greg Valant. Referencing the FleetPride Tech University, he added: "They (FleetPride) also offer tremendous opportunities to our staff for advancement in their careers."
For the Keystone customers within the Pennsylvania-area, they will now benefit from the additional heavy-duty aftermarket inventory from FleetPride, but will still be able to work with Keystone’s trusted experts.
“It is a pleasure to welcome the Keystone Spring Service team to FleetPride," said Mike Harris, the Senior Vice President of sales and operations with FleetPride. "The Valant family has built and developed a first-class team that is focused on customer service and a strong culture for employees which makes this a great fit. I'm proud to say the Valant family chose FleetPride in this process, and we look forward to helping our new team members grow the parts and service solutions they can offer to customers, including our industry leading e-commerce platform."
