During Work Truck Week® 2024, Jason Ritchey, President/Owner of Curry Supply Co., assumed the role of the 60th Board chair of NTEA – The Work Truck Association™, succeeding David Scheitlin. With nearly 25 years in the work truck industry, Ritchey aims to contribute business expertise and engage the younger generation in the sector.
His vision includes fostering continuous learning through innovative education and emphasizing opportunities within the industry.
Ritchey's leadership comes with a commitment to Association and industry progress. Since joining NTEA's Board in 2018, he has actively participated in various committees, including Finance & Investment, Services, Board Development & Recruitment, Business Development, and the Member Verification Program Task Force. His involvement extends to the Education Committee, Chassis Liaison Committee, and Operating/Affiliate Division Governance Working Group.
The 2024–2025 NTEA Board comprises key industry figures. Joining Ritchey on the Executive Committee are First Vice Chair Ben Winter, Second Vice Chair Rick Albertini, Third Vice Chair and Treasurer TJ Blandford, and Secretary Steve Carey. Directors on the Board include Tim Davison, Marc Ellison, Emily Riggs Korns, Joe Lewis, Todd Mouw, Andy Peter, Brian Tabel, Shane Woodman, and Dave Zelis.
Ritchey's dedication to NTEA stems from his desire to give back to the industry and create avenues for the younger generation to explore career opportunities. His focus on advancing education aligns with his belief in continuous learning and adaptation to industry advancements.
As the new Board chair, Ritchey acknowledges the significant role of the work truck industry in driving economic activities where people live and do business. He expresses honor in serving the community that constitutes this vital sector, emphasizing the importance of collaboration among people and businesses within the industry.
With an educational background that includes a Master of Business Administration from Saint Francis University, business law studies at Penn State University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Ritchey brings a comprehensive skill set to his leadership role. He is an active member of various organizations, including the Young Presidents’ Organization, the Duquesne Club, the Penn State Nittany Lion Club, and the Jaffa Shriners. Additionally, he serves as a Caterpillar AVP Board member.
As the truck industry continues to evolve, Ritchey's vision for NTEA involves creating a platform for ongoing learning, engaging new talent, and ensuring the industry's sustained growth and success.
