The Commercial Vehicle Upfitting Summit is an annual event that offers the work truck industry technical community the opportunity to preview commercial vehicle updates and engage with OEM (original equipment manufacturer) engineers on critical upfitting issues. The event is put on by NTEA – the association for the work truck industry.
This year’s event will be held October 3–4, 2023, at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Sandusky, Ohio.
Industry professionals may:
- Learn about important changes to powertrains, electrical systems, chassis structures, and other vehicle systems.
- Speak directly with chassis OEM engineers and product specialists, which translates to practical support for upfitters.
- Network with industry professionals.
- Participate in Q&A with OEM representatives.
Engineering professionals working in the commercial vehicle industry should attend, including final-stage equipment manufacturers and distributors; installation shop and engineering professionals; commercial vehicle fleets; vehicle modifiers and equipment installers.
Leading chassis OEM engineers and product specialists will be on hand at the event to share technical details on their latest models, including upfitter modifications and body builder information, and participate in Q&A with attendees.

The cost is $229 for members and $329 for nonmembers if registering on or before August 29. Prices increase to $279 for members and $379 for nonmembers after August 29. Check your membership status.
