On November 14, 2023, Peterbilt Motors Company welcomed the 750,000th vehicle assembled at its Denton, Texas, manufacturing plant.
The Model 579 truck rolled off the assembly line, marking the company’s dedication to excellence in manufacturing and dedication to its workforce in maintaining excellent production quality since the Denton facility opened in 1980.
To celebrate, Peterbilt presented TMC Transportation, Inc. with the keys to the Model 579 at the Denton plant. TMC, based in Des Moines, Iowa, is the largest privately held flatbed carrier in the nation and runs a 100 percent Peterbilt fleet.
