The North American Commercial Vehicle Show returns to Atlanta this October
The biennial North American Commercial Vehicle Show in Atlanta this October will feature three new Solutions Theaters, says a recent news release from the show organizers.
The Solution Theatres will “showcase topical industry discussions on the show floor,” the release noted. Those discussions will panel discussions on such areas as identify leading service challenges and how to utilize data to to reduce fleet downtime to improve operations.
Online registration for the show opened in April. An online floor plan is also available.
The show — running Oct. 28-31 at the Georgia World Congress Center — showcases truck and trailer manufacturers, commercial vehicle parts and components suppliers, “and emerging technologies, including electric trucks and new innovations in safety, mileage and fleet maintenance,” show manager Carmen Diaz said in an earlier news release. “Our team has worked tirelessly in developing content, both for the show floor and classroom, as well as interactive experiences to allow us to more than double our 2017 attendance.”
Exhibitors include Daimler Trucks North America’s Freightliner and Western Star brands, Volvo Trucks, Mack Trucks, Navistar’s International Trucks brand, Hino Trucks and Paccar Inc.’s Peterbilt and Kenworth brands
The 2019 show will cover 530,000 square feet, up from 370,000 square feet the first time around in 2017, said an earlier news release from the organizers.
Hannover Fairs USA is co-organizing the event with Newcom Media.
A “connectivity zone” to demonstrate technologies such as telematics, and an “Ask the Expert” workshop will be among the new on-floor experiences at the 2019 show.
