Mullen Automotive's subsidiary, Bollinger Motors, is making a spark in the emergency vehicle market. They've secured a deal with Spencer Manufacturing to convert five Bollinger B4 electric trucks into fire rescue vehicles. This marks a significant step for electric vehicles (EVs) entering the emergency response field.
Spencer Manufacturing is a trusted name in fire truck customization, known for their innovative "Solid-Poly®" process that creates corrosion-resistant, high-impact vehicles. It has a service truck line with Spencer SOLID-POLY® Body, for example with an international CV Crew Cab 4x4 Chassis, Hale HP200 Pump w/ Honda Engine, Capacity of 300 Gallon, as well as Grass Rig/Wildland trucks.
The vehicles come with a lifetime warranty on the substructure, body and tank, while featuring maximized water and storage capabilities.

The Bollinger B4 is a Class 4, all-electric commercial truck designed with fleet and upfitter needs in mind.
Its unique chassis protects the battery and components, offering superior capability, flexibility, and serviceability. An additional perk? The Inflation Reduction Act provides a $40,000 tax credit per truck, making the B4 even more attractive.
This fire truck deal comes amidst a flurry of recent achievements for Bollinger Motors. They've secured:
- EPA certification for the B4
- Vehicle sales to Momentum Groups (80 units) and EnviroCharge (50 units)
- Expansion of their dealer and service network
- Partnerships with battery supplier Our Next Energy, assembly manager Roush Industries, warranty administrator Syncron, and mobile service provider Amerit Fleet Solutions
