As suggested by its name, the Shuttle16 features a 16,000-lb. lifting capacity.

According to Stellar, the Shuttle16 is capable of handling dump containers ranging from eight to 15 feet and flatbeds from 10 to 16 feet.
Along with its stellar lifting capacity, the Shuttle16 has a maximum dump angle of 50˚ to 54˚, depending on the length of the body.
The company proudly states that the Shuttle16 maintains all of Stellar’s efficient operational and mechanical features, including the in-cab controls and body locks to ensure stability and secure attachment.
All Stellar hooklifts feature permanently lubricated greaseable bushings, zinc-plated pins, and an efficient low-flow, high-pressure hydraulic system.
Features of the Shuttle16, include:
- A transmission-mounted PTO and hydraulic pump are required to power the hooklift;
- Standard in-cab manual controls that allow for metering of the manual hydraulic valve;
- 10-gal. capacity, frame-mounted oil reservoir;
- Maximum hydraulic flow of 16 gallons per minute;
- A dump/load operator interface;
- Counterbalance valves that stop cylinder movement if there is a pressure loss;
- Mechanical rear-body tiedown latches;
- Resettable dump/tilt tabs;
- Hydraulic plunger valve to prevent front tilt movement if the dump frame is raised;
- Full-length dump frame with front saddles that support the body during dump mode.
