The American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) has launched a survey requesting the trucking industry stakeholders to rank their top issues of concern within the industry and to provide possible solutions for each issue.
The annual ATRI study, now in its 17th year, ranks the issues and provides details on where critical topics are ranked differently by motor carriers and professional drivers. It also allows stakeholders to monitor issues affecting the industry to realize what issues are rising or falling in importance.
“Completing this survey only takes a few minutes, but its impact can be immeasurable. The data ATRI provides will chart the course for the industry by providing a clear picture of the landscape we face,” said Sherri Garner Brumbaugh, President and CEO of Garner Transportation Group.
Industry stakeholders are invited to participate in the survey through October 15, 2021: https://www.research.net/r/2021-Top-Industry-Issues.
The results of the 2021 survey will be released October 24, 2021 as part of the American Trucking Associations Management Conference & Exhibition to be held in Nashville, Tennessee.
The ATRI has been engaged in critical transportation studies and operational tests since 1954, and is a not-for-profit research organization headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, with offices in Atlanta, Minneapolis, Sacramento and New York.
Its primary mission is to conduct transportation research with an emphasis on the trucking industry’s essential role in a safe, efficient and viable transportation system. ATRI’s research focus areas include: Congestion and Mobility; Economic Analysis; Safety and Security; Technology and Operations; Environment; and Transportation Infrastructure.
