Auburn Hills, Michigan – The New England Motor Press Association (NEMPA), founded in 1987, has awarded this year’s winners of its many truck honors. In its first year of eligibility, the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX took home the award of the best winter pickup truck.
NEMPA members compared many vehicles in the industry, and scoring took place in February at NEMPA headquarters in Middleborough, Massachusetts.
The Ram vehicle, built to be one of the toughest trucks on the market, has been tested under severe conditions to display its extreme durability. Prevailing in any winter climate, the 702-horespower truck has a 6.2-liter HEMI V-8 engine.
The performance, durability, and technology of the Ram 1500 TRX makes it the ideal service truck for those who expect to work year-round, especially in the colder months.
NEMPA represents 14.5 million vehicle buyers that live in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont, have demographics and automotive preferences that are unique to this region.
