Service truck manufacturer Iowa Mold Tooling Inc. has promoted a long-time employee to service representative and hired a production supervisor.
New service rep Todd Brager joined IMT in 2005 and has more than 20 years experience in
automotive, truck and equipment troubleshooting and repair, said a recent news release from the company, which is headquartered in Garner, Iowa. Brager holds an associate of applied science degree in automotive service technology from North Iowa Area Community College.
Production supervisor Chase Reding meanwhile comes to IMT from Pharmacist Mutual Group where he was a claims examiner. Reding holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration with an emphasis on management from Wartburg College. He has extensive experience in customer service, coaching, and implementing project improvements.
“Investing in talented individuals like Todd and Chase is essential to our success as a company and our role as a member of the North Iowa community,” Jess Shaw, IMT’s human resources manager, said in the news release.
IMT was also hosting a hiring event on June 21, as this edition was going to press, to help other skilled and qualified workers join the team.
Hiring event participants were to receive information about IMT’s benefits, culture, and competitive pay rate. The event also features open interviews for current opportunities for painters, welders, assemblers, part handlers, and other positions.
Established in 1961, as a business providing new tread designs for recapping tires, IMT has become a leading manufacturer and supplier of service vehicles, cranes, and other equipment for material handling and utility markets around the world. IMT is now a subsidiary of publicly traded Oshkosh Corporation, a Fortune 500 company founded in 1917.
